cute little story

Jane is so good at making fun of her characters! & It's also very old-school, very elegant, very graceful, truly bring me back to the old regency england. H.Tilney is so humorous, amusing(and handsome) indeed that he's much more fascinating to me than F.Darcy. Perhaps Henry dear will be the best Austen hero in my heart.(also thanks to jjfeild,-)

第一本正经看完的Jane Austen，不知道往下是不是按照写作的年份去读完会比较好。感觉很容易读进去的一本书，虽然偶尔还是要拿手机查查单词，简的长句插入语成分很多，容易看着看着就散开了。摘了一些自己喜欢的句子，看完觉得没有什么高深的命意可以思考，也称得上轻松的一件事。可是有点虎头蛇尾的感觉，结尾并不是很喜欢，不断有第一人称的作者出来说几句话，感觉虽然表达了作者对于写作及人物的看法，但还是有点唐突。Anyway，期待后面的作品~

I finally finished the book. The plot is more arresting than that of Persuadion. I really feel the power of Miss austen's building up such a detestable character as John Thorpe who is all self-important, selfish, unscrupulous. She is not a admirable bro...
