很好看的历史书。虽厚得象砖，读起来一点不嫌长。如 Hui 所说，很 juicy，因为那段历史太吸引人，故事太多。六个王后，背景身世迥异，可似乎都逃不脱悲剧的人生。那样的年代，无论哪里的妇女，都是一样的附属品，身不由己。Alison Weir 写的 pop history 还是不错的。下一本，该是 Mary, Queen of Scots 了。

并没有绕着亨利八世，而是绕着六位女性的生平来写的。但是最有趣的真的还是安·博林，她的崛起和downfall。总体来讲是历史大背景下即便是作为皇后也是各种各样的悲惨。

没想到第一本从头到尾啃完的英文原著居然是这本比较冷门又比较老的书~感谢Kindle！流行历史写法确实好读~
