著者簡介

約瑟芬·鐵伊，1897年生於蘇格蘭因弗內斯，就讀於當地的皇傢學院。之後，在伯明翰的安斯地物理訓練學院接受三年訓練，然後開始物理訓練講師的生涯。後來，她辭去教職照顧她住在洛剋耐斯的父親，並開始寫作。

我居然讀完瞭，而且比原計劃讀得快，說明還是蠻好看的。備注一下11年讀莎翁Richard III的書評：an evil hero indeed Shakespeare is drama and Tey is also only fiction.

小時候讀多瞭馬親王會對此類“考據”翻案/洗白文一概免疫。可讀性上還比不上馬親王【誠實】“The spectacle of Dr Gairdner trying to make his facts fit his theory was the most entertaining thing in gymnastics that Grant had witnessed for some time.”完全可以用同樣的話迴敬主角。
