基本上能猜到结局。除了几个主角，最欣赏的人物是Lara的秘书Marian，善良又聪明。“I think i understand her better thanyou do. Lara is maddly in love with you.She would do anyting to hold on to you.""let's forget all this, If you bring this up to her, it won't do any good, and it will only make things worse between the two fo you, i can easily find another job","life is not always fair"

挺喜欢的，女主刚遇到Paul的时候，我想，莫不是和天使的愤怒情节撞了吧。后来才发现并不是，没有作者其他作品那么刺激，但是结局耐人寻味。

应该是：小镇少女拉腊凭借自己的聪明才智和女人的特殊资本，涉足只有男人才敢问津的房地产开发业。她在商场中屡经风险，但在黑手党头目的暗中帮助下，竟奇迹般地化险为夷。她飞黄腾达、成了炙手可热的房地产开发业的巨头。但她在感情上却陷入摆脱不了的危机之中……

和西德尼谢尔顿的其他作品一样，这本书是非常成功的畅销书。情节紧凑吸引人，一拿起来就放不下。等飞机、坐地铁的时候看最合适，可以很快的投入进去而感觉不到时间的流逝。其他的要求就不要太高，思想深度啦，哲学基础啦谈不上；消磨时间，愉悦身心足以。
