查尔斯·泰勒（Charles Taylor），享誉世界的加拿大哲学家、政治活动家。在政治哲学、社会科学哲学和哲学史等领域卓有建树，曾担任牛津大学齐切利（Chichele）社会与政治理论讲座教授。1986年入选美国文理学院外籍名誉院士，现为加拿大麦吉尔大学退休教授。主要著作有《行为的解释》、《黑格尔》、《黑格尔与现代社会》、《自我的根源》、《哲学论证》、《今日宗教种种》、《现代社会想象》、《世俗时代》等。
