The worthiness of Richard Bernstein does not lie in his original contribution to philosophy (as his friends/contemporaries did), but in the way that he ever so succinctly captures and clearly describes the anxiety of our age. The same could be said of his another book Praxis and Action. (Also a good introduction to these schools of thoughts

主要是Part I其他都略读。说是超越obj和rel的论争，怎么看都是在和稀泥。重点分析放在伽达默尔和哈贝马斯，各部分论证多有重叠【就是车轱辘话来回说】。框架和术语都十分伽达默尔，三观又很像杜威，读得乱乱的。不过尾注有不少黑料～
