最早读的英文小说简单但是故事很值。

EB White. On writing well的作者推荐，果然名不虚传，看到最后都泪目，就这么一个中篇童话。不推荐看任何中译本，感受不到语言魅力。White的语言简洁优美地道，而且充分契合各个人物动物的性格。没有多余的词句，不做作，基本不用从句。跳出语言的角度，里面出场的动物、人物性格勾画完整，形象栩栩如生，虽然有好有坏，但都活得表里如一。蜘蛛Charlotte的爱与包容，到后面小蜘蛛们的美好传承，感人至深。小猪Wilbur的敏感脆弱，更衬托了Charlotte的智慧坚毅。整个故事像湖水一样清澈，White的文字如朝阳照耀在这旺水里，暖透了水下世界。
