They were assembled from a series of lengthy conversations between Professor Lévi-Strauss and Carole Orr Jerome, producer in the Paris bureau of the CBC. 有次民俗学老师向我们吐槽，说李维史陀的书艰涩难懂，尤其是对神话的论述部分，读下来简直能把人折磨到掉好几层皮。不过这本小册子就还好啦（简直是像我这样开不了窍的同学的福音呐），杨德睿博士的翻译还是相当流畅优美的，甚至鲜见台湾学术腔，大陆读者会比较容易接受。而且...

讲稿集。第四章讲神话和历史的关系，有点失望。不过"when one explanatory cell is transformed, then the other cells should be rearranged accordingly(the basic structure remains static)"是很典型的结构主义论调。最后一讲希望从整体来把握音乐和神话亦是如此:"music on the one hand and mythology on the other both stem from languages but grow apart in different directions(music-sound aspect;mythology-meaning aspect)"
