1.We often view the past as moving from extreme to extreme, believing it is only today that we are enlighted enough to adopt some sensible middle position. 2.There's nothing new under the sun. Ideas accessible to language teachers have not changed basically in 2000 years.
评分第一遍读完。好在有点底儿，要不然读起来一定会有困难。外国人写的东西就是不一样。我觉得本书条理性有些乱。第二遍读我要系统性地阅读。是本好书。很开阔视野。就是需要一读再读。作者知识太渊博了还那么幽默。致敬!????

评分臭书，字面上的臭书。看十分钟头昏脑胀，半个小时当场去世。什么印刷厂，化学武器工厂差不多。
