小女孩的媽媽陪她剪瞭一串紙娃娃，女孩跟紙娃娃在傢玩起瞭探險遊戲，非常有想象力。最後紙娃娃被小男孩剪碎瞭，但是紙娃娃碎片並沒有隨風而逝，而是“進入”瞭女孩的記憶裏，並在那裏看到瞭小女孩童年的一係列美好迴憶。女孩長大後，又陪她的女兒剪起瞭紙娃娃。簡單但是溫馨、有想象力的故事，作者還創作過大名鼎鼎的Gruffalo。她的繪本還是比較有保障的，可以整套購入。

我兩個兒子也都很喜歡這本書，我剛開始看第一遍沒太get到它要錶達什麼主旨，但文字很優美，好像詩一樣，也很壓韻，很適閤幼兒園的小孩子讀。
