第五本福賽斯，三星半。一是頭有些重，前半部分是談判的故事，但談判隻是後半故事的緣起，這就顯得頭重腳輕瞭。二是關鍵環節的巧閤，有些失望，安德烈是召喚獸嗎？說來就來？三是敘事結構還是多條綫索各自敘述，逐漸接近、纏繞並歸一，但沙特政變的綫索、銀行職員被殺墜樓的綫索，與主綫索雖然意蘊一緻，但敘事脫節，也就是說，幾條綫索的人物重閤度不高，各說各話，彼此關涉不強。最後，當然還是要說，故事是很好看的，很抓人，特彆是最後幾百頁，是典範性的偵探小說。
评分即使貴為萬王之王，在醜惡的政治利益前，也會輕易受到傷害。此版本翻譯差強人意。
