先前在RSC看瞭特彆精彩的利用motion capture加動態半透明電子屏構造舞颱的製作感覺是抓住瞭Ariel的既在場又不在場的精髓。這部劇其實非常現代，在殖民擴張的意義上已經預料到瞭即將到來的理性時代。這部劇一直在揭示一些Marvel背後的機製，來到島上的意大利人處處驚嘆，但島上的Ariel和Caliban則早早就已經在為Prospero賣命瞭，它們的勞力奠定瞭島上的魔法和Wonder。甚至於P在談及Caliban的巫婆老母親時說她能控製月亮把控潮汐（厲害瞭，是個科學傢）而且她能夠命令彆人為她忙碌（這其實也是P的縮影，同時也是現代管理術）等於說這部劇朝嚮瞭一個現代的世界，殖民擴張，資本積纍，更加精妙的精神控製術
