没有了自由意志为前提，似乎可信度以及合理性立马增加很多。但如果我说某些地方相比之下我更买萨特的单。不过我也逐渐开始领会在我初期迷恋存在主义的时候，有人对我说的“存在主义在哲学层面上其实是站不住脚的。” 无论加缪的荒诞还是萨特的自由选择，都存在不能自圆其说的地方。

多年前因为晦涩的翻译没有读完西西弗的神话，于是啃完了英文译本。英文版读起来也很费力，后来突尼斯同事告诉我加缪的法语原著也很难读。加缪的思想真的很有力量。人对于终极真理的追求和世界的无意义性，人对于永恒的渴望和死亡的确定性，造成了荒谬感。肉体的自杀和哲学的自杀（对于上帝这种超验的信仰本身正是对于荒谬的自杀和逃避）都是不可取的。加缪给出的生活态度是，接受荒谬，在可以确定的有限的生命里体验足够多的经历，没有意义也就意味着拥有无穷的意义。数量高于质量，充满激情地去穷尽所有可以获得的可能性。附上罗曼罗兰的一句话，和西西弗的形象不谋而合：There is only one heroism in the world: to see the world as it is, and to love it.
